Mini jade lotus moss is definitely a very rare aquarium moss that really is very difficult to obtain. It comes under the Kingdom Plantae, Division: Marchantiophta, Class: Jungermanniopsida, Family:Jungermanniineae. 

The morphology of this aquarium plant is very similar to a mini lotus plant. They have succubous leaves. It originated in Japan. It has a slow growth rate. With sufficient amount of carbon dioxide, lighting, and fertilization this plant grows very well in your aquarium. Presence of this plant in your aquarium helps to increase its aesthetic beauty. It is a very sensitive moss.

 Optimum temperature must be kept below 740F. PH must be maintained at a 7.4 or below. Cropping the plant at regular intervals will do well. It provides good shade coverage for the fishes and other organisms in the aquarium. Most of the species of this moss is from the temperate regions. It best suites in the shrimp tanks.
