Appearance

Rarity & Value

• The “blue zebra” morph is considered rare compared to standard silver, zebra, or marble angelfish.

Care Requirements

• Tank Size: Minimum 30–40 gallons for a pair, taller tanks preferred because of their long fins.

• Water Parameters:

  • Temperature: 25–28°C (77–82°F)

  • pH: 6.5–7.2

  • Soft to moderately hard water

• Diet: High-quality flakes, pellets, frozen foods (bloodworms, brine shrimp), and occasional live food.

• Tank Mates: Peaceful to semi-aggressive community fish. Avoid fin-nippers (like tiger barbs).

Breeding Notes

• A bonded adult pair will select a vertical surface (leaf, slate, filter intake) to lay eggs.

• They guard and fan the eggs, then care for the fry once hatched.

• A true adult, proven pair (already spawning together) is much more valuable than two unrelated adults.
