Feeding

Albino Cherry Barbs are omnivores and accept:

• Quality flakes or micro pellets
• Frozen foods (bloodworms, daphnia, brine shrimp)
• Live foods
• Occasional vegetable-based foods

Social Behavior

• Keep in groups of at least 6–8 fish.
• Males may display to one another but rarely cause harm.
• Excellent companions for tetras, rasboras, peaceful gouramis, corydoras, and other small community fish.

Breeding

• Egg scatterers.
• Use fine-leaved plants or spawning mops.
• Adults may eat eggs, so remove them after spawning.

Special Notes

• Their lighter coloration makes them more sensitive to very bright lighting; floating plants can help create shaded areas.
• The colors become richer when fed a varied diet and kept in excellent water conditions.

Albino Cherry Barbs look especially striking in heavily planted aquascapes with dark substrate, where their pale golden bodies stand out beautifully.
