Emina fern
Nephrolepis exaltata, known as the sword fern or Emina fern, is a species of fern in the family Lomariopsidaceae. It is native to the America. This evergreen plant can reach as high as 40–90 centimetres, and to 1.5 metres. It is also known as the Boston swordfern, wild Boston fern, Boston Blue Bell Fern, tuber ladder fern, or fishbone fern.
The height of Nephrologist exaltata are 50–250 centimetres long and 6–15 centimetres broad, with alternate leafs. Each leaf is 2–8 centimetre long. The leafs are generally small. The pinnate vein is also visible on these highly compound leaves. The edges appear slightly short
The plant can grow both terrestrially and as an epiphyte. The branches bear small hangings. The leaflets are entire, undestroyed up to 4.8 inches long and up to 0.9 inches wide. They stand at a distance of less than 1 centimetre. The patches of fern are rounded. The spores are wrinkled. Nephrolepis exaltata forms an underground rhizome that is slim and tuberous.
What makes Emina fern special
The plant tends a look, and its dark, curly, twisted and thickly packed fronds give a lush but compact appearance. The species has erect branches. The fern is common in humid forest, especially in northern South America, Mexico, Africa. exaltata thrives. They grow in moist, shady locations and is found frequently in swamps and floodplains.
It is also a variety of Boston fern also known as Nephrolepis exaltata. It is also called crinkle fern. The branches of Emina variety are twisted, spiral, crooked and the ends are bristled. Crinkle ferns grow slowly.

The plant requires a bright, indirect sunlight and the best location for a growth of fern. Direct sunlight for more than an hour a day must be avoided due to the high chance of under-watering and dehydration. And more sunlight can make the leaves become yellow and crispy.

For the better growth of plant maintain good soil moisture. Irrigate from the soil by lifting the leaves from the side to the bare soil. It’s essential not to allow the central foliage to remain hydrated.
